NASCAR Fantasy Hub

ReactTypeScriptViteContext APINx

NASCAR Fantasy Hub is the landing page and central entry point for the NASCAR fantasy ecosystem on NASCAR.com. It surfaces odds, trends, news, and at-a-glance views of all active NASCAR fantasy products with quick links to your current stats and picks per game. If there is an upcoming experience or a new product launching within the ecosystem, the Hub is where users find out about it first.

I onboarded the engineer who built the hub as the third product within the NASCAR ecosystem and similar to 36 for 36 aiding in maintenance and new feature development. When Hub was started, the monorepo structure, component library, theming system and development guidelines were well established. Unlike Fantasy Live and 36 for 36 which were built in parallel while the infrastructure was still being defined, the Hub benefited from a more mature foundation, the dependency guidelines and code style standards were all in place before a line of the Hub was written.

The Hub itself is less about complex game logic and more about composition and information architecture, pulling from multiple data sources across the ecosystem and presenting them cohesively in a single entry point that works whether a user is a first-time visitor or a returning player mid-season. Getting that balance right, informative without being overwhelming, required more design thinking than technical problem solving.
